My story

I’ve been baking for as long as I can remember. My passion deepened in high school when I used baking as a way to cope with stress and anxiety. I’ve always been a hands-on learner, so when it came time to pursue a career after high school, I knew that a traditional college route wasn’t for me. I graduated from Muskego High School in 2017 and enrolled in the Baking and Pastry Arts program at Milwaukee Area Technical College. I graduated from the program with my Associate Degree in 2019.

I worked my way up from a fine dining restaurant into a head pastry chef position at a local French bakery, all while running a small scale cake business out of my apartment. I came to a point in my career when I knew I had to choose between my full time job and my side hustle. I took the leap in March of 2021 and quit my job, found a commercial kitchen space to rent, and invested all of my time and energy in opening Whisk Chick LLC as a full time operation. I haven’t looked back!
